You shouldn’t get carried away, or obsessive about cholesterol. As you do actually require cholesterol and fats to keep your health in order. Unfortunately, most people aren’t even aware they have atherosclerosis until they have a heart attack or stroke. Because for good or ill, the body is slow to warn on closing arteries. You could potentially have arteries that were 80 percent closed, but not have any noticeable symptoms! Cholesterol is a big problem because you are starting to develop atherosclerosis build up from when you are just a child. So all adults need to be aware of the potential dangers of plaque build up (caused by such factors as high LDL Cholesterol)
